Built to educate younger generations:
UnitTimeline.com helps teachers and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces collaborate on teaching high school students about the freedoms they enjoy as U.S. citizens, and how those freedoms are protected.
Veterans Have a Lot to Share
For Veterans
We provide the tools and platform needed to ensure your units' rich histories are never forgotten, and lessons learned from your experiences transferred to younger generations.
UnitTimeline.com is a website that shows U.S. military unit histories from the point of view of the unit members, and helps veterans find each other, reconnect, and stay in touch.
We help you:
Preserve and Honor
The people you met and served with.
What you accomplished together.
The unbreakable bonds you forged.
Reconnect
Learn about reunions.
Find members of your units and what they are doing now.
Locate veterans who served at the same times and places, even if in different units.
Your Unit Connections
We can help you reconnect with members of your units when you tell us about the units in which you served. By knowing all the units in which our members served we can easily help you find each other and reconnect.
Your Unit Timeline
Over time you did a lot, you saw a lot, and you accomplished a lot as a unit. The easiest way to understand everything your unit accomplished is in a timeline. Our easy-to-use tools help you build your unit's detailed timeline.
Educate Younger Generations
Our tools help you tell the stories of the units in which you served, including lessons learned and examples of true bravery, valor and patriotism. The younger generations should know what it was really like, and they should hear it from you.
Join our mission to ensure your unit histories are never forgotten
Here's your part
Step 1
Tell us about your time in the service
When you create your account we ask about the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces in which you served, the name of each unit in which you served, dates of service, and the primary roles in which you served.
Knowing your affiliations helps us connect you with the right units and other veterans.
Step 2
Contribute historical information
If you have photos or other items of historical interest from your time in the U.S. Armed Forces, we can help you preserve those historical items and present them to a wide audience who will understand them.
Upload your photos, documents, and memories, and share them with the units in which you served.
Step 3
Recruit others
You can invite other veterans you served with, or their families and close friends, to contribute photos, videos, documents, stories, and other historical accounts to build out more complete unit histories.
Recruiting others results in more history preserved and more opportunities to connect.
